Mrs. MARION ANDERS BRACY

Pulaski County -- Mrs. MARION ANDERS BRACY, age 85, of Little Rock, died Saturday, April 10, 1999. She had worked for the District Engineer at the Corps of Engineers in Little Rock from 1937 to 1951 when she became a devoted wife to Buford Bracy. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, the Musical Coterie, the Aesthetic Club and the Second Friday Book Club.

She is survived by two sons, Gene Bracy of Port Ritchey, Fla. and Jack Bracy of Little Rock; three sisters, Virginia Effland, Frances Spratlin and Julia A. Weatherall, all of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Mike Bracy and Bob Bracy of Little Rock, Betsey Foss of Charlotte, N.C. and Carol Brinson of Dallas; and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at Immanuel Baptist Church with Dr. Rex Horne and the Rev. David Napier officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the John A. Gilbreath Scholarship Fund at Baptist School of Nursing or Immanuel Baptist Church. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 13, 1999 at Roller Chenal Funeral Home (224-8300).
