Marion Freeman Mourned At 58 -- Services Friday
Retired Farmer of Summit Area Succumbed At His Home Wednesday Evening
Marion Freeman, 58, retired farmer, passed away at 11 p.m. Wednesday at his residence on Route 2, Summit.
Services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at the Tangipahoa Baptist Church with the Rev. A. W. Talbert officiating, assisted by Rev. A. J. Chandler and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The deceased was born in Liberty in the year 1892 but had lived on Route 2 pract[i]cally all of his life.
He is survived by his wife and four sons, Aaron and Louis Freeman of Lexington, N.C., Carl Freeman of Columbia, Lloyd Freeman of Route 2, Summit, and a daughter, Mrs. Irma Martin of Summit, Route 2, one sister, Mrs. T. G. Lusk of Liberty, three brothers, Jeff of Summit, Henry of Magnolia and Van of Biloxi. Three brothers preceded him to the grave by many years.
Hartman Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
