Mark Thomas, born in Taylor, La. July 1, 1897, moved to OKC with family in 1907. Graduated from Central High School. Served in WWI. Associated with American Electric Ignition Company for many years as secretary-treasurer and credit manager. Past president of Okla. Division of the National Assn. of Credit Management. A long time active member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church and the Couples Class. Member of Masonic Lodge No. 36, a 32nd Degree Mason, member of India Temple, Scottish Rite Society and Guthrie Consistory.
Survivors are wife, Rubie; a son, Wendell and wife, Harriett of State College, Pa.; 2 sisters, Christine Kolb of OKC and Ava Francis of Swainsboro, Ga.; a niece, Helen Key, and nephew, Mark Francis, also of Swainsboro, Ga.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, Nov. 25, at 2pm, in the sanctuary of St. Luke's United Methodist Church. The family will receive visitors in the church parlor during the hour before the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests gifts to The Memorial Fund of St. Luke's United Methodist Church.
