Marriam Lina Park

Marriam Lina Park, 88, of Kilgore passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 in Longview.

Marriam was born December 23, 1929 in Minco, Oklahoma to Claude and Thelma Markle Ferguson. She worked as an insurance agent for Farmer's for many years. Following retirement, she loved to play bridge at the Senior Center of Longview and played every Thursday without fail. Marriam will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Claudia Lackey; son, Robert Park; granddaughter, Monica Wooten; sister, Carroll Canfield; and former husband, Billy H. Park.

Marriam is survived by her daughter, Angela Gail Shock and her husband, Danny of Roebuck, South Carolina; son-in-law, Don Lackey of Kilgore; daughter-in-law, Joan Park of West Lake, Ohio; grandchildren, Valerie Gorman, Lisa Haley, Jessica Crowe, Steve Shock, and Carla Simon; great grandchildren, Erin Schamber, Bailey Haley, Savannah Crowe, Blaire Wooten, Ethan Simon, Allison Simon, Justin Simon, and Hunter Shock; great-great grandson, Knox Schamber; numerous other family members and friends.

A private family service will be held at a later date in Minco, Oklahoma.
