MARSHALL M. STEWART
MARSHALL M. STEWART October 22, 1922 to February 25, 1998 Beloved husband, father and grandfather was born in Henderson, TX, on October 22, 1922 and entered into eternal rest February 25, 1998 at his home in Conroe, TX.
He was a man of many accomplishments, life member of the Montgomery County Fair Association, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Friends of Conroe, a Harris County Sheriff's Deputy and a supportive member of the Conroe business community. But of all these accomplishments, his family was his greatest joy.
Marshall is preceded in death by his father, Henry Levi; mother, Eula Lee; sister, Velta Lee; and brothers, James David & Moody Russell.
He is survived by his loving wife, Betty, of 55 years, his dearly loved stepmother, Gracie Leona Stewart, daughter, Marsha Stewart of Conroe, son & daughter-in-law, Michael & Denise Stewart of Conroe, sister, Valrie DeJohn of The Woodlands, TX, Grandchildren, Tammy Lynn & Duane Wienecke of Conroe, Michael Stewart, Jr. of Houston, Michelle Renee' Stewart, Jared Devin & Cody Levi Stewart all of Conroe. Also dearest and lifelong friends Paul and Nezzie Berlin of Houston.
Pallbearers: Kenny King, Bruce Berlin, Brad Berlin, Glenn Berlin, Craig Berlin and Gene Candelari. Honorary pallbearers: Paul Berlin, Lonnie Ward, Buck Drake, J.C. Vestal, Walter Shipp and Don Ragsdale.
Funeral services were held Saturday, February 28, 1998 at 10 a.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev. Charles Downey officiating. Interment followed at Garden Park Cemetery with Cashner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family received friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, February 27, 1998 at the funeral home.
