Funeral services for William Marshall ``W.M.'' Parker, age 99, of Start, LA will be held, Wednesday, December 3, 2003 at 2:00 PM at First United Pentecostal Church of Rayville, LA with Rev. Robert Stroud officiating. Interment will follow at the Start Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home in Rayville, LA.

Mr. Parker passed away Monday, December 1, 2003.

Mr. Parker was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Rayville, LA. He worked many years as a painter with the Richland Parish School System.

Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Parker sons, Talmadge, Jerry and Devon Parker and four grandchildren.

Survivors include five sons, Joel Parker and wife Shirley of Rayville, LA, Verlon Lawrence and wife Venita of London, AR, Terry Parker and wife Sue of Start, LA, Van Parker and wife Tammy of Rayville, LA and Mark Parker and wife Krissy of Calhoun, LA five daughters, Florene Taylor of Andrews, TX, Eloise Antley of Atlanta, GA, Rosa Tatum of Monroe, LA, Linda Lawrence of Pineville, LA and Renea May and husband Alvin of Start, LA one sister, Ruth Wimberly of Winnsboro, LA, forty-seven- grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Stewart Parker, Adam Parker, Roy Lively, Ronnie McDanell, Harvey Nance and Randall Howard.

The family would like to thank the many people who helped Mr. Parker during his recent illness, Dr. Charles Morgan and his staff, Lou Ann Hall and the staff at North Monroe Rehabilitation and all the staff at Aging Care Home Health.

Visitation will be at 10:00 AM until service time at First United Pentecostal Church of Rayville, LA.
