Ray Eldridge
Funeral services for Ray Eldridge, 63, of Winnsboro were held Thursday at Temple Baptist Church in Winnsboro with the Rev. Vernon Blair officiating.
Interment followed in Crowville Masonic Cemetery near Crowville under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mr. Eldridge died Tuesday, July 20, 1993 at Winnsboro Manor Nursing Home after an extended illness.
Mr. Eldridge was a member of Temple Baptist Church, a retired mechanic with the Louisiana Dept. of Transportation and Development. He was also a native and life-long resident of Franklin Parish.
Survivors include his wife. Betty L. Eldridge, Winnsboro; one daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Charles Sailor, Santa Barbara, Calif.; two sons, and daughters-in-law, Marshall and Barbara Eldridge, Baton Rouge; Roger and Teresa Eldridge, Duluth, Ga.; one sister, Doris Knipp, Winnsboro; one brother, Elton Eldridge, Winnsboro; five grandchildren, Levi and Amber Eldridge; Chase and Sydney Sailor; and Jason Eldridge; step-mother, Mrs. Ellis Eldridge, Winnsboro.
Pallbearers were John A. Cuny, Macky Taylor, Clifton Lord, Allen Compton, Howard Guimbellot and J. L. Hendrix.
