Marshall Tarver
Marshall Windfred [sic Winfred] Tarver, 49, of Start, died Saturday morning, September 18, 1976, in the Richland Pa[r]ish Hospital in Rayville after a brief illness.
Funeral services for Mr. Tarver were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, September 19 in the chapel of Brown-Whitaker Funeral Home of Rayville with the Rev. Jesse Eppinette officiating.
Interment was in the the the [sic] Start Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annie Ruth Tarver of Start; three sons, James Roy Tarver, Winfred Tarver, and Chris Eugene Tarver, all of Start; two daugh[t]ers, Mrs. Billy Bennett and Mrs. Ronald Barnett, both of Start; four brothers, Edward Tarver and Claude Tarver, both of Mangham, Virgil Tarver of Start and Charles Tarver of Los Angeles, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Gladys Parker and Mrs. Magrie Southern, both of Mangham, Mrs. Dorothy Cox and Mrs. Evelyn Lee, both of Monroe; five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Howard Conley, George Russell, William Green, Day Wieks, Preacher Wieks and Robert Bennett.
