Funeral services for Mr. Marshel Rolen 78 of West Monroe, Louisiana will be held Sunday, August 8, 2004 , 4:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel West Monroe, Louisiana. Interment will be at Welcome Home Cemetery, Grayson, Louisiana under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, Louisiana.

Mr. Rolen was born May 1, 1926 and died Thursday August 5, 2004 in Monroe, Louisiana.

Mr. Rolen had a love for gardening and fishing. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the United States Army.

Mr. Rolen is survived by his wife; Dorothy Rolen of West Monroe, Louisiana; five children: Beverly McManus of West Monroe, Louisiana; Terry Rolen of San Antonio, Texas; Diana Kronenburg of Monroe, Louisiana; Marsha Humphries of West Monroe, Louisiana; Michelle Renfro of West Monroe, Louisiana; one sister: Omia Rice of West Monroe, Louisiana; sixteen Grandchildren; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Knighten, Steven Moore, Christopher Rolen, Kevin Kronenburg, Steve Humphries, Paul Renfro, and Mike McManus.

Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00PM until 8:00 PM and Sunday from 3:00 PM until service time at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, Louisiana.
