Martha Butler Jackson

Died 1 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 1994, at her daughter's residence in Baton Rouge. She was 73, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of McCall Creek, Miss. She was a retired East Baton Rouge Parish Library employee.

Visiting at Ingleside United Methodist Church 2 p.m. until religious services at 3 p.m Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Tim Lawson, Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park.

Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela M. and William D. Myers, Carolyn M. and Jimmy G. Wilson, all of Baton Rouge; three stepdaughters, Wilda Hoffman, Lafayette, Geraldine Menck, Baton Rouge, and Jeannie Ann George, North Carolina; a brother, John Butler, Gulfport, Miss.; and two grandchildren, Marcus Wilson and Amy Wilson McCurdy.

Preceded in death by first husband, Carlton B. Mott; second husband, Blanks F. Jackson; parents, Dr. Decatur P. and Mattie I. Butler; and a stepson, G.D. Jackson.

Pallbearers will be Marcus Wilson, Anthony McCurdy, Powell, George and Perry Butler, John and Paul Kelley.

She was a member of Ingleside United Methodist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, Louisiana Library Association and Exxon Annuitants Club.
