Martha Catherine Emmons
1946 - 2009

Martha Catherine Emmons, 63, of San Augustine, Texas, passed away at her residence on Saturday, June 13, 2009.

She was born to Ella Mae (Eller) Emmons and Edward Hudson Emmons on April 3, 1946, in Victoria, Texas. She was a retired educator having taught for many years before retiring from North Forest Independent School District. She was a member of the Band Boosters and enjoyed square dancing and scrapbooking.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 15, 2009, at 2:00 P.M. at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel in San Augustine, Texas, with Dr. Sam Wayman. Interment will follow in the McRae Cemetery in San Augustine County, Texas.

She is survived by a daughter, Lara Schroeder and husband Michael of Pasadena, Texas; and a brother, Ed Emmons of San Augustine, Texas.

Pallbearers: Michael Schroeder, Dan Fussell, Jonathan Sparks, Shane Emmons, Marshall Kennedy Lofton, and Jerry Bates.
