McDaniel Rites Scheduled Today

Funeral services for Mrs. Dan McDaniel, 43, of 701 South 19th Ave., Hattiesburg, will be held 2 p.m. Monday from the Wright and Ferguson chapel with Rev. W. J. Stanway, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Hattiesburg, and Dr. O. M. Anderson, pastor of Mt. Hermon Presbyterian church in Madison, officiating. She died early Sunday morning at University hospital.

Mrs. McDaniel was the former Martha Emmons, of Jackson, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Emmons, Sr., of Madison. She had lived in Jackson since early childhood, and had been a resident of Hattiesburg for 10 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church of Hattiesburg.

Survivors are her husband; two sons, Danny McDaniel and Paul McDaniel, and a daughter, Paula McDaniel, all of Hattiesburg; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Emmons, Sr., of Madison; and one brother, P. A. Emmons, Jr. of Pittsburgh, Pa.

Interment will be in Cedar Lawn cemetery. Pallbearers will be Neal Stokes, Benton H. Green, George L. Stewart, W. J. Satterwhite, W. H. Etheridge, and C. B. Blount.
