Rites Held For Mrs. E. F. Bone
Mrs. Martha Jane Barfield Bone, 82, died in the Montgomery Hospital at 2 p.m., Friday.
Funeral services were held in the Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church, Saturday at 4 p.m. Elder Bentley Adams of Thomaston, pastor of the church, officiated. Interment was in the Bethlehem cemetery.
A life-time resident of Taylor County, Mrs. Bone was the daughter of the late Owen and Amanda Taunton Barfield. She was born December 13, 1881. She married Earl Fred Bone and was a member of the Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Earl and Hugh Bone of Butler, Gray and Troy Bone of Macon; two daughters, Mrs. Wilbur Green and Mrs. Morrison Chapman of Butler and several nieces and nephews.
Edwards Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements with the following serving as pall bearers, Lewis Bone, Lester Bone, Frederick Bone, Joe Bone, Bobby Green, Bill Perry, J. C. Shephard and Halley Barfield.
