Martha L. Cobb

Martha Lydia Cobb, 104, of Lubbock, Texas died on December 1, 2013 at University Medical Center of complications following a stroke.
Martha was born in Stiles, Texas on November 11, 1909 to Annie and Victor Ludlow Bradley. Martha graduated from Brady High School in 1929. Following her graduation, she worked for the First National Bank of Levelland from 1932 -- 1944. In May of 1940 she married Woodrow Cobb, long-time credit manager at the Hemphill Wells Department stores. She enjoyed being a homemaker and a gardener.
Martha is survived by her daughter, Margaret Trussell (Richard) of Lubbock; son, Gary Cobb (Margaret) of Newbury Park, CA; grandsons, David Trussell (Christy) of Austin and Brian Trussell (Amanda) of New Braunfels; 3 great-grandchildren, Avery, Maddie, and Trent; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Resthaven from 6-7:30p.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 with a graveside service at 10:30a.m. on Wednesday December 11, 2013 in Resthaven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Childrens Home of Lubbock, 4404 Idalou Rd, Lubbock, TX 79403.
