MR. M. B. HARRIS DIES OF HEART ATTACK MONDAY

Expires While Seaeted [sic Seated] in Chair at Cochran's Warehouse About Noon Monday

Mr. M. B. (Martus) Harris, about 65 years of age died Monday morning from a heart attack, while seated at Cochran's warehouse.

Mr. Harris was one of Taylor county['s] most widely known farmers and a member of Lebanon Baptist church for a number of years. He was twice married, first to Miss Sallie Taunton and after her death to Miss Lucy Bell Barfield.

Funeral services were held for Mr. Harris at Lebanon church, Tuesday afternoon at three o'clock, Rev. M. T. Gaultney officiating. Interment was at M. Pisgah cemetrey [sic cemetery].

He is survived by his wife, eight sons and four daughters.

Pall bearers were: Messrs Albert Harris, Eugene Harris, Ezekiel Harris, Samuel Harris, Dudley Harris and Emory Harris. Edwards Bros. funeral directors.
