WALLACE, MARVIN EVANS ``COON''

WALLACE, MARVIN EVANS ``COON'', age 88, of Birmingham, AL, died December 9, 2003. He was a lifetime resident of Birmingham, AL, growing up in Woodlawn. He retired from SCL-L & N Railroad after 47 years of service. Mr. Wallace was an avid Golfer at Highland Golf Course and a charter member of Green Valley Country Club. A member of Avondale Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Blanch O'Brien Wallace.

Truly loved by his family and will be sorely missed.

Survivors include two sons, Steve A., (Kay) Wallace of Oak Mountain, AL, Robert O. Wallace of Birmingham, AL; daughter, Sharon W., (Robert) Byrd of Indian Springs, AL; eight grandchildren; brother, Wade (Carol) Wallace of Destin, FL; sister, Catherine W. Peasley of Woodlawn, AL.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:30-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 11, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Johns-Ridout's Southside Chapel, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Rev. Mark Lacey officiating.
