Pearl -- Marvin Ivey, 79, died Monday, November 7, 2005 at St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel with burial in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Mr. Ivey was a native of Harrisonburg, La. but had lived in the Pearl area for 33 years. He was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Ivey was a World War II Veteran and loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors are his wife Marie Ivey of Pearl; sons, Dale Ivey and his wife Pam, of Pearl, David Ivey and his wife, Fay, of Brandon, Glen Ivey and his wife Twanna, of Madison; daughters; Helen Stewart and her husband Gary, Wanda Vaughn and her husband Leonard, both of Pearl, Sue Smitson, and her husband Mark of Pelahatchie; sisters, Blanche Jones, Tallulah, La., Edith McMillen, Houston, Texas; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-Grandchildren.
