FRANKLINTON, La. -- Marvin Laron Prestridge, 64, a retired truck driver for Matlack Chemical Co., died of respiratory failure Tuesday at Heritage Manor Nursing Home.
Services are 5 p.m. Friday at Catchings Funeral Home in McComb, Miss., with burial in Montgomery Cemetery in Lincoln County, Miss. Visitation is 2-5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Prestridge was a native of Lincoln County. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include: wife, Ann; sons, Michael Laron Prestridge of New Orleans, Donald Wayne Prestridge and Barry Lee Prestridge, both of Natchez, Miss., Rufus W. Heyse of Walker and Reggie Lee Heyse of Gonzales; daughters, Joanne Prestridge Sauceman of Prairieville, Lynn Prestridge and Tammy Gendron, both of LaPlace, and Carol Cormier and Helen Marie Heyes, both of Walker; brother, William L. Prestridge of Gonzales; sisters, Betty Vierhout of Amite and Charlotte Fitts of El Dorado, Ark.; and 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
