EDDINGS, MARVIN LEWIS Age 76, a resident of Concord passed away on April 7, 2012. Mr. Eddings was retired from Alabama Power. He was an active member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and Deacon Emeritus. Mr. Eddings was a veteran, he served in the United States Air Force and in the Marine and Navy Reserves.

He is survived by his wife Frances Eddings, daughter Lisa (Chris) Watts, son Kenneth (Kathy) Eddings, son Greg Ward. Grandchildren Katie, Alex, Keri, Kenny, Rachel (Cliff), Daniel, Wes (Christy), two great grandchildren, twin sister Margaret Weldon, sister Faye (Jim) Dupriest, numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday April 10, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at peoples Chapel, visitation will be Monday April 9, 2012 from 5:30 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Burial will be at Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Dr. Rick Patrick, Doug O`Brien and Paul Hunter will be officiating.

The family has asked in lieu of flowers donations be made to Pleasant Ridge Baptist, Gideons or Care First Hospice 1400 Urban Center Drive Suite 240 Vestavia, Al. 35242.
