Marvin Mack McQueen
Marvin M. McQueen, age 70, of Cardington died Tuesday evening Dec. 24, 2013 in the Morrow County Hospital. He was born Oct. 14, 1943 in Sweetwater, TX. to the late Otis B. and Inola (Grayson) McQueen.
Marvin worked in the maintenance department at the Sims Fertilizer Plant and retired from there after 20 years of service.
On Nov. 28, 1980 in Cardington Marvin married the former Helen High and she survives. Other survivors include children; Billy McQueen of Sweetwater, TX., Roy Fissell of Mt. Gilead, and Joy Stewart of Cardington; brother, Billy Jo McQueen and sister Patricia Boiles, both of Sweetwater, TX., eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Marvin was preceded in death by a son Herb Morgan and a brother Larry McQueen.
A graveside service for Marvin will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Marlborough Cemetery in Delaware County. Gompf Funeral Home in Cardington is assisting the McQueen family with the funeral arrangements.
