WALDROP, MARVIN

Died 12:45 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, 1992, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. He was 67, a native of Forrest, Miss., and a resident of Denham Springs. He was a retired U.S. Postal Service employee and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 10 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Bill Spencer. Burial in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery.

Survived by wife, Helen May Waldrop, Denham Springs; a stepdaughter, Carol Smith, Denham Springs; two sons, William K. Waldrop, Baton Rouge, and Russell C. Waldrop, Denham Springs; a brother, W.J. Waldrop, Morton, Miss.; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be nephews. Honorary pallbearers are members of Denham Springs Camper's Club.

He was a member of Don Avenue Baptist Church, Denham Springs, a past Master of Denham Springs Masonic Lodge No. 297, past Patron of Mystic Star No. 108 of Order of Eastern Star and a member of Denham Springs Camper's Club.
