Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Alice Volentine, age 81, of Monroe formerly of Caldwell Parish were at 10 a.m. Saturday June 20, 1992 at the Riser and Son Funeral Home Chapel, Columbia with the Rev. George Bonner and Jim Fondren officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Rose Cemetery, Grayson.
Mrs. Volentine, a homemaker, died June 17, 1992 at the St. Francis Medical Center, Monroe after a brief illness. Mrs. Volentine was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Richard Volentine.
Survivors include: son: Mr. Billy Wayne Stegall, of West Monroe, La. Daughters and sons-in-law: Eunice and Myron Ainsworth, of Monroe, LA; Judy and Jim Fondren, of Tallulah, LA; Gladys and Tommy Hutson, of Monroe, LA. Daughter: Mrs. Betty Elliott, of Monroe, LA; Sister, Mrs. Lucille Fatheree, of Monroe; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Those serving as pallbearers were Greg Flores, Ricky Claunch, Hershel Howell, Bryan Lindsey, Adam Howell, and Troy Pruett.
