Mary Ann Reid Whittington Harvey
Mary Ann Reid Whittington Harvey, age 74, went to be with the Lord Monday, December 23, 2013.
She was a former member of New Zion Baptist Church where She and her family grew up attending.
Mary was a faithful member of Liberty Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and was not afraid of going home to be with her Lord and Savior. She loved the Lord, her family, and her church family.
She cooked for her family each Thanksgiving and Christmas. She was known by her family for her “Turkey and Dressing” and all the trimmings.
She was loved by her family and friends and will be missed.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Jeannie and Barry Felder of Liberty,Ms., her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Marilyn Whittington of Murfreesboro, Tn. 6 Grandchildren, Ryan Felder of New Orleans,La., Logan and Lucas Felder of Liberty, Corey Whittington and wife Briana of Smyrna, Tn., Megan Whittington and Molly Marsalis of Mc Comb, Ms. 3 Great-grandchildren.
4 Sisters, Sarah McKlemurry, Winnie Lou Reid, Allie Rae Brooks and husband Donald all of Liberty,Ms., and Betty Bowlin of McComb,Ms. A host of nieces and nephews and a special nephew, Bobby Mcklemurry Jr. and his children, Karleigh and Peyton McKlemurry of Liberty. She was just like a mama to them. She had a special friend, her dog “Royce”.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Winnie Reid, 2 Brothers, Willard Reid and Charles Reid. Her husbands, Eugene Whittington and Billy Joe Harvey. Her brother-in-law, Ben Bowlin, a sister-in-law Doris Reid, and a nephew Thomas Earl Reid.
Visiting is Thursday, at the Liberty Baptist Church from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00m P.M. Also visiting Friday, 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 11:00 A.M. Friday at the Church. Interment will follow in New Zion Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Bradley Geno and Rev. James Sadler.
Pallbearers are Logan Felder, Lucas Felder, Corey Whittington, Bobby McKlemurry Jr., Sammy Carraway, and Ricky Bowlin.
Honorary Pallbearers are Bobby McKlemurry Sr., Jerry Maxwell, Ryan Felder, and Donald Brooks.
