DEATH CLAIMS MRS. A. J. FOUNTAIN

Grim Reaper Death has again visited our city and removed from the stage of action a pioneer and one of the most beloved women of this section in the passing last night about 7 o'clock of Mrs. Mary (A. J.) Fountain, widow of Mr. A. J. Fountain, who preceded her in October 1904.

Mrs. Fountain was a noble Christian woman and her many acts of Christian service and deeds of charity greatly endeared her to everyone. She was in the 86th year of her age and a consistent member of the Primitive Baptist church since girlhood.

Surviving Mrs. Fountain are the following sons and daughters: Messrs T.J., J. E. and R. L. Fountain; Mrs. G. C. Smith, Mrs. N. B. Hammock and Mrs. E. A. Hollis; as does also one brother, Mr. J. H. Whatley, and one sister, Mrs. J. R. Saunders.

Funeral and inte[r]ment will take place this afternoon at three o'clock at the family lot at Bethlehem cemetery, the funeral service to be conducted by Rev. J. T. Adams.
