Mary Cliett

MONTPELIER -- Mary Barger Cliett, 80, died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, at University Medical Center in Jackson. She was born in Memphis to the late Rachael Williams and Reuel Barger. She married Doyle Gosa Cliett on March 15, 1968, in Tunica. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Palestine Cemetery in Montpelier with the Rev. Eddie Brock officiating. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, Doyle Cliett of Montpelier; two daughters, Cheryl Stewart of Lamar and Mary McPherson of Drummonds, Tenn.; a stepdaughter, Betty Dabbs of Amory; three sons, David Jaynes of Olive Branch, Eddie Jaynes of Mobile, Ala., and Bobby Jaynes of Rogers, Ala.; 11 grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three stepgreat-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1:45 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the cemetery.
