MARY BROGAN PARKER

Mary Brogan Parker, 74, of Laurel, died Friday, Dec. 17, 2004, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, with burial in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Hueston Adkins will officiate.

She was a member of Glade Baptist Church, a devoted wife, homemaker and loving mother of three and caretaker of her son Ronnie for 56 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Odell Newman Parker in 2004; one grandson, Phillip Scott Shaw; one brother, Billy Brogan and one sister, Norma Johnston.

She is survived by two sons, Ronald Parker and Gary Parker of Laurel; one daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda Gail and Phillip Shaw of Laurel; two grandchildren, Niel Parker and Melissa Shaw Stacy; and three great-grandchildren, Madison Dumas, Michaela Stacy and Brock Stacy; two sisters, Dorothy Bradford and Barbara Holifield of Laurel and one brother, Charles Brogan of Laurel.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Sunday at Memory Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Mickey Holifield, Tommy Brogan, Roland May, Mark Brogan, Douglas Bradford, Jackie Brogan, Chris Burns, and Steven Holifield.

Memory Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
