MEADVILLE -- Mary Coleman Whittington, 67, a former resident of Meadville, died June 16, 1993, at Franklin County Hospital.
Visitation is 4-8 tonight at Brown Funeral Home of Gloster and from 9 a.m. Saturday at Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church until services there at 10 a.m. Elder John Conerly and Elder Lonnie Mozingo will officiate and burial will be in Middleton Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Whittington was born Nov. 3, 1925, in Franklin County. She was the daughter of Soloman Coleman and Janie Freeman Coleman.
She was a homemaker and a member of Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Paul B. Whittington of Centreville Health Care Center; three sons, James Whittington and his wife Margie of McComb, Roger Whittington and his wife Dana of Batesville, and Edward Whittington and his wife Brenda of Meadville; one daughter, Paulette Kelleher and her husband Rick of Tylertown; six grandchildren, Mathew, Derek, Joseph, Amanda, Lane and Cole Whittington; two brothers, Oliver Coleman of Gloster and Homer Coleman of Summit; and one sister, Irene Cloy of Natchez.
