Mrs. Mary Langdon

Mrs. Mary C. Langdon of Route 3, Four Oaks, died Saturday in Adams and Kinton Nursing Home near Lillington. She was 86 years of age.

Mrs. Langdon was a native of Johnston County. Her parents were the late Luther and Susanna Jones Lee.

The funeral was held at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon at Overby Funeral Home in Smithfield. The Rev. C. M. Coats officiated. Burial followed in the Langdon Family Cemetery.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Estella Flowers and Mrs. Louise Byrd of Route 3, Four Oaks, Mrs. Velma Byrd of Route 3, Benson, Mrs. Violet Jones of Route 3, Smithfield, and Mrs. Vera Stuckey of Route 2, Pikeville; two sons, Willard Langdon of Portsmouth, Va., and Gilbert L. Langdon of Route 3, Four Oaks; four sisters, Mrs. Louie Johnson of Route 3, Benson, Mrs. Josie Leneave of Raleigh, Mrs. Ellen Austin of Route 3, Four Oaks, and Mrs. Lena Barbour of Route 1, Smithfield; 22 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
