*Mary's birth year was 1840 based on estimates from 1850-1880 census records. Her date of birth was given as MAY 1845 in the 1900 census. This date is clearly erroneous based on the earlier census records and on her first marriage date. In addition, her middle name was possibly Ellen, rather than Elvin.
