Mrs. Gill Dies; Rites Held

Mrs. Mary Edna Robinson Gill, 88, died in the Pineville Residence of her daughter at 2:15 a.m. Saturday. Mrs. Gill was formerly of Ruston.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday in Spears Chapel with Rev. Ralph Self, pastor of the East Pineville Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial took place in Greenwood Cemetery under direction of Spears Funeral Home of Ruston.

Survivors include one son, Curtis Jay Gill of Shreveport, one stepson, Robert L. Gill of West Monroe, two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Johnson of Monroe and Mrs. Martha Flournoy of Pineville; three stepdaughters, Miss Nina Gill of Monroe, Mrs. Clara Norris of Monroe, and Mrs. Louise Gillette of San Angelo, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Mattie Williams of West Monroe; 10 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
