Mary E. Sanders

CARTHAGE -- Mary Elizabeth Sanders, 74, died Tuesday. Services were Wednesday at Freeny Baptist Church in Leake County with burial in the Freeny church cemetery. Wilcox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Sanders was a member of the Freeny Baptist Church, a member of the church homemakers club and member of the choir.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Virginia Alford of Carthage; sons, Joe Sanders and Dayton Sanders, both of Carthage; sister, Mrs. Lidie Sones of Walnut Grove; brother, R. M. Allen of Walnut Grove, Marion Dodson of Jackson and Doug Dodson and Melton Dodson, both of Harpersville; and 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
