Funeral Services Held Wednesday for Jena Citizen

Mrs. Mary E. Miller, 90, of Jena, died at 8 a.m. Monday in Leesville after a short illness.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church of Jena with the Rev. P. I. Norsworthy officiating.

Burial was in the Hare [sic Hair] Cemetery under the direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Virgia Williams of Baton Rouge; a sister, Mrs. Clara Kaserog [sic Koserog] of Jena; three granddaughters, Mrs. Neal Thompson of Shreveport, Mrs. W. H. Broyles of Leesville, and Mrs. Roger Ulmer of Shreveport and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Charles Williams, Jimmy Humphries, Sam Williams, Dr. W. H. Broyles, Neal Thompson and Roger Ulmer.
