HUNTSVILLE, Alabama -- Mrs. Mary Evelyn Walls Montgomery, 80, of Route 2, Pine Bluff, died Saturday at a hospital here. She was the widow of the late Roy Montgomery of Wilmar (Drew County).

She was a member of the Rock Springs Methodist Church at Wilmar.

Surviving are four sons, Kenneth Montgomery of Pine Bluff, Jack Montgomery of Fayetteville, Arkansas, James Montgomery of Seattle, Washington, and Victor Montgomery of Wilmar; four daughters, Mrs. Nell Harper of Buna, Texas, Mrs. Sue Miller of Beaumont, Texas, Mrs. Elizabeth Terrell of Huntsville, and Mrs. Kathleen Barger of Spokane, Washington; a brother, Egan Walls of Minden, Louisiana; 23 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Rock Springs Methodist Church at Wilmar by Reverend Curtis Brown. Burial will be in Rock Springs Cemetery by Buie Funeral Home of Star City.

Grandsons will be active pallbearers.
