DERIDDER -- Funeral services for Mary Frances Cooley, 72, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, in Hixson Funeral Home.
The Revs. C.J. Langton and Joe Pool will officiate. Burial will be in Newlin Cemetery in Singer.
Visitation is 6-10 p.m. today, 8 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Mrs. Cooley died at 7:20 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2001, in a local hospital.
A native of Chase, she was a resident of DeRidder. She was a graduate of Northwestern State College, and received her master's degree from McNeese State University. She was a retired mathematics teacher and taught many years in Beauregard Parish. She was a member of Beauregard Parish Teachers Association. She was a member of Singer Baptist Church and its Women's Missionary Union.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Cooley of DeRidder; two daughters, Paula Diane Miley of Humble, Texas, and Betsy Roy of DeRidder; two brothers, Banks Tullos of Ferriday and J.C. Tullos of North Highlands, Calif.; four sisters, Eula Smith of Jonesville, Ruth Brewer of Fort Worth, Texas, Doris Sims of DeRidder and Tommie Jean Turner of San Antonio; three grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
