McCARTY -- At the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Mandy Moore, at Ball, La., early Thursday, January 30, 1930, Mrs. Mary McCarty, aged 85 years. She was found dead in her bed and it was supposed that she died about 4 o'clock a.m. In addition to her daughter at Ball, she leaves two other children, Mrs. Dove McCarty and Mr. Ed McCarty, both of Columbia, La.

Funeral services and interment took place at Pleasant Grove, La., Friday morning, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, local undertakers.
