Mrs. Prichard Succumbs at 98
Mrs. Mary Holstein Prichard, 98, of Alexandria died at 8 a.m. today in her residence. She was the widow of Dr. Charles C. Prichard, a native of Whitehall Plantation, Sicily Island, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the First United Methodist church.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Gerard Brandon of Natchez, Miss., Mrs. J. Torras Phillips and Mrs. James W. Hardy, both of Alexandria; a sister, Mrs. W. Gregg Gill of Jackson, Miss.; six grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
The remains will be at Hixson Bros., Alexandria, tonight. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Laird Funeral Home, Natchez, Miss., with burial in the Natchez cemetery.
