MRS. MARY INEZ McCARTY
Mrs. Mary Inez McCarty, 65, died unexpectedly Tuesday at her home on RFD 4.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at 38th Avenue Baptist Church. Officiating ministers will be Rev. Van C. Windham, pastor, Rev. Claud M. Cluney, pastor of Westminster Presbyterian Church, and Rev. C. S. Moulder. Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery. Jones Funeral Home of Richton is in charge of arrangements.
The body will remain at the family residence until time of rites.
Mrs. McCarty was a retired school teacher of 44 years service. She was a resident of Oak Grove Community and a native of Jasper County.
Survivors include her husband, W. A. McCarty; one son, M. L. McCarty of Hattiesburg; three sisters, Mrs. F. R. Gregory Sr. of Louin, Mrs. Howard Windham of Columbus, and Mrs. Horace McDonald of Laurel; two half-sisters, Mrs. W. M. James of Meridian, and Mrs. F. F. Graham of Moss; three brothers, Walter L. McNeil of Hattiesburg, Oscar and Ezra McNeil of Louin, and three grandchildren.
