Mary J. Hawthorne

Services for Mary Jane Barron Hawthorne will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Hixson Bros., Pineville, with the Revs. Danny Hawthorne and Sherwood Hawthorne officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville.

Mrs. Hawthorne, 89, of Pineville died Friday, Sept. 11, 1998, in Oak Care Nursing Center, Pineville.

She was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for 23 years and was a member of the WMU. She was employed by Central Louisiana State Hospital for 22 years.

Survivors include four sons, Lavelle Hawthorne of Alexandria, the Rev. Sherwood Hawthorne of Ball, Jimmy Hawthorne of Pineville abd the Rev. Danny Hawthorne of West Monroe; two daughters, Faye Hood of Pineville and Margie Robertson of Ball; 32 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of services Sunday in the funeral home.
