Mrs. Mary Jane Sayers

SHREVEPORT, LA - Graveside services for Mrs. Mary Jane Sayers, 97, will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, April 30, 1993 at Johnson Cemetery, Joaquin, Texas. Officiating will be Rev. Robert Richardson, associate pastor of First Baptist Church, Lafayette, La.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel.

Mrs. Sayers died Monday, April 26, 1993 in Shreveport after a brief illness. She was born in Shelby County, Texas and had resided in Shreveport since 1942. Mrs. Sayers was a homemaker, a Baptist, a member of the Eastern Star and Rebekah.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Willis Sayers.

Survivors include one son, Walter Aaron Sayers and wife, Yvonne of Shreveport, La.; three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, three brothers and three sisters.
