Rites Held At Mount Pisgah For Mrs. Trice

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Jennie Bartlett Trice, 70, were held Monday afternoon at one o'clock from the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Foy Perkins and Rev. Elijah Payne officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery with Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home of Thomaston in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Trice died Saturday in the City-County Hospital in LaGrange. She had resided in Thomaston for the past 38 years, moving there from Taylor county.

Survivors are her husband, Maurice Trice of Thomaston; three daughters, Mrs. J. T. Allen of Atlanta, Mrs. Bennie Griffin of Meansville, Mrs. J. W. Bickford of LaGrange; three sons, George T. Bartlett of Atlanta, Homer Lee Bartlett of Opelika, Ala., C. H. Bartlett of Reidsville; father, G. N. Taunton of Butler; three brothers, Oscar, Arnold and Jack Taunton of Butler; five sisters, Mrs. H. D. Hankinson of Butler, Mrs. H. L. Joiner of Byron, Mrs. Lillie Hadaway and Mrs. Mandy Minter of Macon and Mrs. Alice Moss of Milledgeville; 19 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
