Mary Fowler

July 5, 1927 -- June 29, 2007

NOBLE, Okla. -- Mary Jo Guyot Fowler, 79, of Noble, Okla., died Friday.

She was born July 5, 1927, at Dumas, Ark., a daughter of the late Walter M. Guyot and Erma Lee Guyot.

She was a homemaker and a retired Census Bureau employee.

She was a member of the United Methodist church.

Survivors include one brother, Noel A. Guyot of Midway Park; one sister, Edith Annie Guyot Smith of Glendale, Ariz.; and five grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bonnie K. Fowler, whom she married on Jan. 17, 1946; and two daughters, Carol Paige Dorsey and Mary Gail Quibodeaux.

Funeral services will be at noon Thursday at Griffin Funeral Home at Dumas with the Rev. L. Glenn Pettus officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Lake Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
