Mrs. Mary Ivey

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ivey, 80, were held at 11 a.m., Monday, November 15, 1993, from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Forest. Rev. Herman Kelly, Rev. Clinton Thornton, and Rev. James Albert Kelly officiated. Interment was made in the Sharon Primitive Baptist Cemetery in Lake.

Mrs. Ivey passed away on Saturday, November 13, 1993, at the Rush Hospital in Newton following an extended illness. She was a lifelong resident of the Goodhope Community and a member of the Goodhope Baptist Church in Lake.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Betty Hollingsworth of Lake; one son, Mr. Jimmy Ivey of Florence; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Bounds of Laurel and Mrs. Nannie Merle Satterfield of Jackson; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Robert Don Devoter, Herbert Kelly, Clifton Kelly, Dale Bounds, Dewayne Ivey, and Phillip Harris.

Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest was in charge of arrangements.
