Mrs. Mollie Huthnance

HUTHNANCE -- At her home in Montgomery, LA., May 19, 1930, Mrs. Mollie Huthnance departed this life aged 76 years, 10 months and 19 days.

She was born and reared near Winnfield, and later moved to Cane river, near Colfax, which place was her home until two years ago, when she moved to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Minnie Phillips, in Montgomery.

Her health had not been good for more than two years and three weeks ago she was stricken with the illness which ended in her death on Monday.

Mrs. Huthnance was always loved and respected by all who knew her, and her passing brings sorrow to the hearts of her many friends and relatives. She was an ardent Christian worker, and was a devoted member of the Baptist church.

She is survived by the following children: William and Fred Huthnance, of Colfax; Earl Huthnance, of Glenmora, La.; Mrs. Bessie Vallee, of Beaumont, Texas, and Mrs. Minnie Phillips, of Montgomery, La.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, and her remains were interred in the ``Six Bit'' cemetery, north of Colfax, Rev. Lula Wardlow, of Montgomery, and Rev. J. D. Fomby, of Colfax, conducting the services.
