Mary Margie Rollinson
(July 7, 1925 - June 15, 2009)

Mary Margie Rollinson, 83, of Summit, MS, died June 15, 2009 at McComb Extended Care. She was born July 7, 1925 in McKinney, TX to Everett and Alma Tanner Whittington. She was a member of New Life Apostolic Church in Summit. Her family said that she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 51 years, Lee Russell Rollinson, a daughter; Linda Darnell Dunaway, a son; Lanis Lee Rollinson, two brothers and sister-in-laws; Sam and Lillian Whittington and S.J. and Donis Whittington, three sisters and two brother-in-laws; Sadie and Floyd Wilkinson, Etta and Alton Rollinson, and Agnes Faye Dunaway.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Alice and David Idlett of Norwood, LA; a son and daughter-in-law; Grady and Nora Rollinson of McComb, MS; two brothers and sister-in-laws, Leonard and Ramona Whittington of Brandon, MS and Marvin and Frances Whittington of Independence, LA; four grandchildren, Bonita Dunaway, Carmen Johnson and William Rollinson all of McComb, MS and Michelle Davis of Sulphur, LA; five great-grandchildren, Jessica Dunaway, Daniel Howell and Jeremy Newman all of McComb, MS and Gabriel and Jacob Davis of Sulphur, LA; three great-great-grandchildren; Trey Howell, Jace Howell and Kaylee Whittington of McComb, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday June 17, 2009 at Whittington Memorial Methodist Church, Hwy. 567 and King Road, Liberty, MS from 9AM until 10AM. Graveside services will be 10:30 AM at Whittington Cemetery with Bro. Kenneth Patten officiating.
