MRS. MARGARET JOHNSON

DUNN -- Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Mary Margaret Johnson, 86, widely known Johnston county woman and widow of Luther D. Johnson. She died Friday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. H. A. Bryan, on Dunn, Route 2.

Mrs. Johnson had been an invalid for more than 40 years, but carried on work from her bedside. She was said to have accomplished more as an invalid than many people who enjoy good health.

The rites were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Bryan home. Elder Xure Lee officiated. Burial was made in the Johnson-Lee family cemetery.

Surviving Mrs. Johnson are two sons; one brother, a daughter, and five sisters, all of this section.
