Mary R. Dawson
Mary Nettie Randall Dawson, 88, of Brookhaven, died Jan. 16, 2001, at Haven Hall Nursing Center.
Visitation is 5-10 tonight at Brookhaven Funeral Home, and8 a.m. Thursday until services there at 1 p.m. Graveside servicesare 3 p.m. at Roseland Cemetery in Amite County. The Rev. Tex Guidry and Gaylon Dawson will officiate at both services.
Mrs. Dawson was born Nov. 8, 1912, in Amite County. She was the daughter of Frank Oliver Randall and Vander Elizabeth Harrell Randall.
She was a sales clerk at Sterlings and Woolco department stores, and a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Natchez.
Mrs. Dawson was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Eleanor Dawson.
Survivors include six sons, Maurice Dawson of Brookhaven, Larry, Stanley and Bobby Wayne Dawson, all of Vidalia, La., Gaylon Dawson of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Raymond Dawson of Gillette, Wyo.; four daughters, Alpha Sharpe, Edith Wills and Patricia Dawson, all of Brookhaven, and Agnes Faye Wilson of Willis, Texas; 30 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Sharpe, Justin Case, Lonnie Wilson, Jody Butler, Brent Dawson, Fred Lipscomb, Dwayne Anding and Cliff Brown.
