Services for Verdue Hardin, 78, of Tyler, TX will be 10:00AM Friday, December 15, 2006 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Longview with the Reverend Carol Petty officiating. Burial will follow at noon at Cathedral In The Pines Cemetery in Tyler, TX. Mrs. Hardin, a former resident of Longview, died Monday evening at Hospice of East Texas.

She was born July 1, 1928 in Crowville, LA to Jake and Florence Busby Netherland. Verdue and her husband, Bob, moved to Longview, TX in 1984 where she was co-owner of Hardin's True-Value Hardware for 23 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Episcopal Church of Longview.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bob Hardin of Tyler, TX; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Karen Hardin of North Port, FL and Steve and Jill Hardin of Tyler, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Cliff Adams of Tyler, TX; two brothers C.M. Netherland of Dallas, TX, Oneal Netherland of Tulsa, OK, sister Olline Killian of Crowville, LA and special cousin ``Sister'' Mary Alyce Parsons of Monroe, LA; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, 906 Padon, Longview, TX 75601.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd. in Longview, TX, Thursday evening 7:00PM to 8:30PM.
