Matalew Lewis Suttles

Funeral for Matalew Lewis Suttles, 75, of Jacksonville will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Southside Church of Christ, Jacksonville, with Joe Buck Strong and Philip Strong officiating. Burial will be in Meador Cemetery, Jacksonville.

Suttles died March 30, 2004, in her residence.

Born Aug. 5, 1928, in Neches, she was the daughter of John F. and Katherine Odell Rhodes Lewis. She was a member of Southside Church of Christ, Jacksonville, and the Texas Retired Teachers Association. She was retired from Jacksonville ISD.

Survivors include include her husband, Ray Suttles; sons, Lewis Suttles and Kerry Suttles, both of Jacksonville; daughter, Audrey Lang of Nacogdoches; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. today.
