Mrs. Norwood

Funeral services for Mrs. Mathilda [sic Matilda] E. Norwood, 86, of Gilbert, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist church with the Rev. Sheldon Sharbono officiating.

Burial was in the Oakley Cemetery.

Mrs. Norwood died Sunday night in the St. Francis Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Survivors include two sons, Asa Norwood of Winnsboro and Lee Norwood of Gilbert; one sister, Mrs. Tina Posey of Columbia, Miss.; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
