Cockerham Services Scheduled

MILFORD -- Mrs. J.E. Cockerham, 70, of Route 1, Milford, died Saturday night in a Hillsboro hospital.

Funeral services are to be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Rudolph-Owens Chapel of the Chimes at Waxahachie with the Rev. David Wilson of Waxahachie officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.

Mrs. Cockerham was born in Win[n]field, La., on March 9, 1901 and came to Milford as a young girl. She was married to John E. Cockerham of Milford.

Survivors include seven sons, J.B. Box of Spokane, Wash.; J.E. Jr., Harve and Ernest Cockerham, all of Milford, G.D. Cockerham of Fort Worth, Chester Cockerham of Terrell and Henry C. Cockerham of Waxahachie; three daughters, Mrs. J.C. Crumpton, Mrs. Billy Barnes and Mrs. Robert Anthony, all of Milford; two brothers, Jim Box of Calvin, L[a]., and Morgan Box of Waxahachie; a sister, Mrs. Cozzie Cockerham of Joyce, La.; 11 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
